KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full time experience specific to complete interior built multi-family projects.
- Holds a degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or Interior Design through a recognized institution.
- Proven experience and a thorough understanding of design and contract document production with a demonstrated ability to develop details that are technically proficient.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.
- High quality standards and proven ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills.
- Strong design, technical CAD drafting and BIM skills (proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, knowledge in ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, various CAD software and SketchUp is an asset).
- Working knowledge of the interior-built environment.
- Working knowledge of drafting standards, layouts and conventions.
- Experience coordinating with outside consultants.
- Knowledge of various relevant Building Codes (such as Part 3 & 9 of BC Building Code and Vancouver Building Bylaw), Accessibility requirements and the ability to research municipal and federal built environment and documentation requirements.
- Working knowledge of coordinating drawing documentation with coordinating professionals and ability to accurately read and understand consultant’s documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Be part of a design team for documentation.
- Documentation of design by drawing and understanding specification writing.
- Visual, written, and verbal communication with excellence to consultants.
- Act as a contact point for consultants and clients.
- Follows office protocol and procedures, and established procedures.
- Works closely with the CAD Team Lead for constant team communication.
