Description:

  • 5+ yrs. demonstrated experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials and content to include creating instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, job aids, online tutorials, knowledge assessments and other training materials.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in one or more IT infrastructure domains (Storage, Compute, Networking, Security, Software Development, Systems Administration, Database Engineering or Administration, Machine Learning, AI, Cloud Infrastructure, Big data, DevOps, or other IT infrastructure domain)
Would you like to become part of the team that is redefining the way IT training is delivered to U.S. National Security mission owners? Join the Dedicated Cloud Training curriculum team working with government mission owners to deliver training to government customers.
We’ve experienced rapid growth in the demand for a wide range of AWS courses, and these courses are having a direct impact on our customers in the U.S. Government space. Government customers are rapidly adopting AWS as a way to build scalable and cost-effective web and IT solutions for their missions. To do that effectively, they need training, and not just a couple of slides and a long lecture. We are developing highly technical courses with extensive hands-on labs, complex process and solution diagrams, e-learning courses that can be accessed 24x7, and self-paced labs that get customers deep into AWS technologies.
The Dedicated Cloud Training curriculum team is looking for a motivated Technical Curriculum Developer who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with several AWS teams to develop instructor-led and digital training content around AWS services and features.
The ideal candidate is a smart, innovative, driven, problem solving Technical Curriculum Developer with technical subject matter expertise in one or more IT infrastructure domains (storage, compute, networking, security, software development, systems administration, database engineering or administration, machine learning, cloud infrastructure, big data, DevOps, or other IT infrastructure domain). The candidate will have excellent writing skills and the ability to translate deeply technical content into easy-to-understand training. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have training, instructional design, or technical documentation experience, programming experience, and thrive in an extremely agile environment. Above all, the candidate will have a passion for learning.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.
