JOB TITLE: Technical Delivery Manager

SALARY: £62,874 - £69,860

LOCATION(S): Leeds, Bristol and Halifax
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: At least two days per week (or 40% of your time) at one of our offices listed above.
About this opportunity
The Engineering Platform team is on the journey to create the next generation technical platform for Lloyds Banking Group that will be at the core of one of the UK’s biggest financial service transformations. We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our Cloud DevOps TDM team within the Engineering Platform.
You’ll have a unique opportunity to be part of progressive team with the purpose of driving our tech modernisation agenda enabling us to become the biggest Fintech in the UK!
We’re interested in motivated and innovative hands-on Manager to play a pivotal role in leading and delivering change within our platform. You’ll be responsible for delivering change to complex systems, solving challenging problems, and supporting the team and our Product Owners to deliver their Product Roadmaps.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Lead large scale, high impact, projects providing delivery support for the end-to-end delivery of change including governance and service introduction
  • Use your ability to be hands-on to understand core issues and work with relevant teams to creatively resolve obstacles.
  • Lead technical conversations with Partners of varying levels of technical background, including Senior Management, using storytelling and your comprehensive communication tools to build understanding and bring others on the journey.
  • Collaborate across internal, external, and 3rd party teams, nurturing a culture built on trust allowing everyone to succeed
  • Comfortable with identify shortcomings, then suggest and implement improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects within the organisation’s change management programme
  • Develop and/or delivers a contingency plan for significant aspects of the risk management and/or control process

What you’ll need

  • Experience in change governance and Service Introduction
  • Change management delivery (end to end) with good understanding agile methodologies (Awareness of Lloyds methodologies including Fastpath would be advantageous).
  • Well versed in LBG platform change framework (including Jira and Jira Align)
  • Partner management / 3rd party supplier management and engagement
  • Strong communicator at various level e.g. Project, Programme, Executive
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent business insight
