Technical Deployment Analyst

REQUIREMENTS & SUPPORT:

  • Develops professional expertise to support deployment projects by validating customers’ order requirements with the customer processing team and other partners.
  • Project manages the technical deployment responsibilities with the data center manager.
  • Develops technical knowledge of the data center and recommends solutions, while in partnership with more senior team members, to address internal issues within a moderate scope.
  • Applies learned techniques to facilitate smooth service delivery and ensure provisioned services meet and exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Receives general instructions from expert teams and team members in providing solutions cross-functionally to resolve customers’ non-standard order requirements

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Technical Deployment Analyst (TDA) will be amongst varying and often concurrent projects. Project Management or co-ordination, implementation or even operations experience from a Data Centre or similar environment will be highly regarded.
Delivering expertise with cage design, install and structured cabling for new and existing customer deployments within the data center, TDA’s play a crucial role in the business and work with many key stakeholders - including our onsite Engineering teams, Capacity and Sales Engineers, vendors and above all our valued customers.
Due to the nature of the projects we are looking for someone who will be predominantly based onsite working closely with the Operations teams, vendors and suppliers – so the TDA will be able to run programs well ahead of time and be super organised, ana phenomenal communicator. The role will be based at SY5, a flagship data center within the business which has recently undergone major construction addition.

    Ideally candidates will come with 2+ years in a similar role (Electrical/Data Centre/Customer Deployment and configuration) or with transferrable skills and experience to develop into the positions quickly.
    Practical work experience, Bachelor Degree or relevant Trade Certificate (Electrical) is encouraged as will the ability to attain and maintain information quickly.
