We are seeking someone with a wide experience in Mobile Comms and Networking as well as telecommunications in general to be the capability lead for our connectivity and telecommunications product and services design team. You will be responsible for supporting the overarching Technical Strategy; articulating the market conditions, clients and opportunities for growth across the sectors Genuine IT Solutions operates in. The Connectivity Lead will also develop a team of telecoms engineers to meet the market and take accountability for the quality of output from the team.
You are a systems thinker that can elevate yourself above the detail to see the wider problems and develop and lead solutions that the client loves. A person that leads at a client level and can enthuse and motivate staff at all levels in the organisation.
You will lead one of several capabilities that combine to create value for clients in technical and human centred disciplines.
This year the Genuine IT Solutions will be formulating its strategy for 2025 – 27. • Own, develop and execute the connectivity strategy and road map.
• Responsible for setting the technical objectives for Connectivity.

• Maintaining the technical competency in Connectivity Capability in the organisation (Genuine IT Solutions).

• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to manage a diverse team.

• Promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Lead and manage the technical team throughout the design, delivery and ongoing service process, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Develop and implement technical strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
• Oversee the integration of various technologies, including software and hardware, to enhance product and ongoing service quality.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during delivering solutions in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve product and ongoing service techniques.
