Summary
For the “Engineering Lifecycle Support” department, we are looking for a “Technical Editor for Optronic Systems (f/m/d)” at the Oberkochen site, Aalen branch, as soon as possible.
The team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and spare parts catalogs, customer training, material and parts management, lifecycle management and obsolescence management in accordance with international standards and guidelines.

Your Tasks

  • Creation of technical and logistical documentation, including illustrations (digital / interactive documentation) for optronic products in accordance with national and international standards and norms
  • Procurement and control of information based on design and production documents as well as existing hardware and software
  • Supervision of externally commissioned work packages with national and international subcontractors
  • Independent and timely coordination with development as well as internal and external clients and customers
  • Creation of user and service manuals for software products
  • Creation, maintenance and modification of spare parts catalogs (including codification) for optronic systems according to national and international standards

Your Profile

  • Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical fine mechanics, technical editing or comparable
  • First, relevant professional experience in the field of activity
  • Good knowledge of Office applications and at least one XML-based editing system
  • Good knowledge of graphics programs as well as good SAP and database skills
  • Knowledge of the relevant national and international standards for the creation of technical documentation
  • Interest in new media and technologies
  • Technical-analytical and holistic thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation
  • Very independent, structured and reliable way of working
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
