Description:
Are you ready to bring your technical expertise to the next level? We are looking for a Technical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team working to improve and further develop our high-end product lines.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing design, technical drawings and procedures as part of our constant improvement process for existing products, as well as for the development of new products. You will also prepare technical specifications required for procurement processes, ensuring smooth and efficient project flow.
We have our own product development workshop, and you can be involved in physical testing of product concepts or validation projects to relevant industry standards.
Additionally, you may get responsibility for leading smaller development projects and managing vendor relationships, playing a crucial role in driving successful project outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETENCES
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. within relevant engineering disciplines, with over 5 years’ relevant experience from design and drawing. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of qualifications
- Innovative, systematic, a self-starter and analytical, with the ability to see things through and to collaborate with others
- Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English
Responsibilities:
Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:
- Design and drawing in CAD
- Integrity/Structural calculations in FEA
- Development of new products and technical improvements to existing products
- Coordinate and perform workshop testing and validation on products
- Documentation of development projects in compliance with relevant industry standards
- Provide technical specifications for procurement and follow up manufacturing activities and vendors including documentation compliance to quality requirements
- Undertake Quality and HSE activities within the department and handle non-conformances and improvement suggestions
- Join in workshop testing and validation of products
