ABOUT US
Right now, 25% of CO2 emissions in Europe are caused by heating our buildings. In order for this to be reduced, the transition towards renewable energy needs to be simplified and made more accessible. There are too few installers to meet the growing demand for heat pumps, and a solution to match this trend needs to be brought to the market.
autarc is developing the leading operating system (OS) for heat pump installers, enabling a more digital and efficient installation process for heat pumps.
Through this, autarc is reducing the hurdles to decarbonizing single-family homes and small apartment buildings in Europe, with the goal to help with the planning and designing of 1 million heat pumps by 2030
Responsibilities:
You will be working alongside the CTO, Founders and other Engineers to help design and improve the core product, with a specific focus on integrations and service features.
As we have two squads building out the Heat Pump and Solar products, we need to work on things such billing, invoicing and 3rd party integrations to make sure our OS is more end-to-end. This work will consist of building UI links and widgets, mapping out data and correlating systems so that they work seamlessly. Additionally, we want to allow users to import and export 3D scans and renders, as an example of what impact these integrations will have.
As a Junior Engineer/Founder’s Associate, you will be responsible for picking up ad-hoc tasks that come as and when the demand arises, meaning you need to be eager to learn new things and be challenged with different tasks on a weekly and monthly basis.
Some of the things you will do might include:
- Building web-hooks into our APIs
- Focusing on flawless Frontend designs and UI
- Interacting with the Design team to improve UX
- Be hands-on in designing, coding and testing cycles for both existing and new features
- Develop B2B SaaS applications
- Have a high level of responsibility to turn ideas into performant and reliable code
The role is Fullstack, with a 60/40 split between Frontend & Backend.
