REQUIREMENTS

  • College Diploma in Building Systems, Automation, or a related field
  • College degree in Building Mechanics, Instrumentation or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience
  • Bilingualism is essential (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of electrical concepts
  • Good knowledge of current office software (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Advise customers in their choice of HVAC controllers
  • Welcome clients to the branch or over the phone in a professional manner
  • Offer expert advice to clients in their choices of components and control system regulators
  • Answer technical questions and add value by presenting products
  • Perform technical research in order to offer the best solution to the customer
  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the branch
  • Evaluate clients’ technical needs and requests in order to prepare their quote
  • Respect RMA procedures
  • Inform clients about new, existing and complimentary products
  • Assist the warehouse clerk with the preparation of deliveries and orders, as needed
  • Produce various reports and follow up on orders
  • Stay up to date with knowledge regarding new products
  • Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows
