At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we’ve made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we’re looking for a culturally aligned Network and System Administrator to join our dynamic team located in Markham.
This is a hybrid position: 3 days on site

As the Technical Lead for Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Governance, you will be at the forefront of our data strategy, overseeing the integration and management of data across the organization. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting-edge BI solutions, insightful analytics, and robust data governance frameworks. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable intelligence and ensuring the integrity and compliance of our data assets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data governance.
- Proven leadership experience in managing BI, analytics, and data governance teams.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing data strategies and governance frameworks.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
- Strong hands-on experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling.
- Expertise in SQL and data query languages.
- Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks.
- Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
