Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of technicians in daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective performance in technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a team to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in a technical or hands-on environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Proficiency in [specific technical skills/equipment relevant to the industry, e.g., electrical systems, IT hardware, HVAC systems]
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid [specific certification, e.g., Electrical, IT, HVAC certification] preferred
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to the industry

    Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians, ensuring their continuous development.
  • Oversee and perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks on systems, equipment, or machinery.
  • Ensure all technical work complies with industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all tasks and projects.
  • Track and report on the team’s performance, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Handle complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting or decision-making. Escalate unresolved issues to senior management or technical experts as needed.
  • Maintain proper records of equipment, tools, and parts used for repairs, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, managers, and external vendors, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
