Technical Lead - OCBC Securities Projects Delivery - (24000144)
OCBC Securities is subsidiary of OCBC, is seeking a qualified candidate to assist the Margin Migration project and other OCBC Securities Pte Ltd (OSPL) delivery Tech Lead. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team for OSPL IT Engineering department. As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project on Equity Backoffice Application.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years Backoffice Application Support Experience on Local/Foreign Exchanges for Equity markets.
- Sound knowledge of Financial Markets products and Order Management Flows.
- Independent, proactive and demonstrate ‘can-do’ mentality.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent results.
- Preferable to have application knowledge on NovaCAS, Margin and Control-m.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in margin migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of Security house, margin systems, processes, and technologies.
- Preferable have knowledge in supporting Windows, Unix, and Oracle systems.
- Deep Knowledge of Unix scripting, Control M Scheduler, crystal reports, PLSQL and SQL language with common database platforms such as SQL Server and Oracle
- Knowledge and experience with DevOps practice and tools (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence, Junit, and Jenkins etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical team in the planning, design, and execution of the Margin Migration and other Project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional (Business Solution, Project manager, Business users such as Finance, Risk, Operation and dealers to gather requirements and define project objectives.
- Develop and implement technical strategies and solutions to ensure a smooth migration process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and report project status to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to margin systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of margin systems.
- Provide technical expertise and support during user acceptance testing and post-migration activities.
