Description:
What you can move with us:
- Leadership in Action: As a Technical Lead (all genders), you will be responsible for the technical leadership of a cross-functional team of eight team members, consisting of six developers and two consultants. You support the team in always looking for new and better solutions, provide helpful feedback and work closely with other teams to facilitate communication.
- Shaping the future: In customer projects, together with the technical team lead, you form the interface to the customers and their requirements: you analyse functional and non-functional requirements, design solutions to these requirements and implement them with the team.
- Innovative projects: Current projects include, for example, the optimisation of supply chain processes, the development of algorithms for train loading or resource optimisation. Together with your team, you will ensure the sustainable and efficient handling of supply chains, for example at seaports.
What you bring along:
- Education: A degree in computer science, mathematics / operations research or a related field. Experience as a software developer, software architect or full stack developer is an advantage.
- Leadership experience: Initial experience in technical leadership is desirable - but we also offer you the opportunity to develop your skills through coaching and leadership programmes.
- Technological excellence: Solid knowledge of Kotlin / Java, Python and basic experience with databases, GIT, XML, XSD, Docker and Kubernetes. You don’t have to be able to do everything, but you should be willing to learn new technologies.
- Analytical strength: You have the ability to penetrate complex issues, get to the point and communicate clearly.
- Language skills: Good to very good written and spoken German and English.
- Flexibility and mobility: You are willing to travel occasionally (up to 15%) and work flexibly, be it remotely, hybrid or on-site at our modern campus in Aachen.
How we value your work:
- Flexible working hours, hybrid work, workation, sabbatical
- U3 daycare as well as childcare subsidy
- Urban Sports Club membership and other health/sports offers e.g. bike leasing
- Long-term development prospects with a wide range of further training opportunities
- Varied, healthy and subsidized lunch in our canteen
- Large INFORM summer party, company and team events as well as a Christmas party
