DESCRIZIONE DEL RUOLO

We are a fast-growing bootstrapped SaaS company, enabling distributed teams to collaborate seamlessly on translations.
We’re seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Engineering Manager to join our global team and drive technical excellence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong technical background in software development
• Expertise in PHP (mandatory) and React Proven experience leading and mentoring tech teams
• Excellent code review skills with a focus on constructive feedback
• Deep understanding of software development best practices
• Exceptional communication skills, both technical and non-technical
• Fluency in English (mandatory)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in SaaS product development
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Background in scaling applications and optimizing performance

• Manage and mentor a team of 3 developers (2 backend, 1 frontend) + freelance developers and agencies
• Lead technical direction, ensuring high-quality code and best practices
• Conduct regular code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Hold 1:1 meetings to foster communication, provide feedback, and support team growth
• Manage the engineering backlog based on business requirements
• Act as a bridge between management and the engineering team
• Stay hands-on with coding to maintain technical expertise
