JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Lead will be a pivotal member of this project initiative. This role is responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects, ensuring that development efforts align with best practices in software engineering and cloud architecture. The Technical Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that support the client’s mission.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance as required by the federal government client.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within IT or government sectors.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and tools such as JIRA or Trello for project tracking.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation and engagement.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with agency’s objectives and compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and UX/IX designers, to gather requirements and ensure project success.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project progress against defined metrics and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement best practices for project management and continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
