Description:

To extend our technical legislation team, we are looking for a new colleague in the position below:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ongoing studies in mechanical engineering or similar faculty
  • You can work at least 20 hours/ week
  • You have very good English skills
  • Ideally, you already have some experience in dealing with legislation, technical legislation or homologation.
  • You are interested in and enjoy working in a team.
  • You also have good communication and analytical skills.
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office, databases and internet research

Responsibilities:

  • Together with the team, you will research future trends in global technical legislation in the areas of powertrain technology, automobiles and vehicles (such as trucks, tractors, motorcycles).
  • Your daily work tasks will include helping to maintain and improve the central information platform relating to global technical legislation in AVL.
  • The focus is on legal requirements regarding active and passive safety, electrical systems, batteries, fuel cells, the environment, emissions, driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) and the entire vehicle.
  • In collaboration with your colleagues, you will take care of the procurement, preparation and interpretation of specific content.
  • You will also be involved in deriving the consequences of international legal acts on the automotive industry and AVL’s services (e.g.: EU Green Deal, Free Trade Agreements, Inflation Reduction Act,)
  • Together with the team, you will research future trends in global technical legislation in the areas of drive technology, automobiles and vehicles (such as cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles).
