Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our liability management objectives by ensuring that all adverse decisions are made on time, in accordance with the legislation and the quality decision making frameworks.
  • Providing technical and legal knowledge and strategic advice to claims staff and customers of Allianz.
  • Supporting the capability development of our claims staff through the resolution support of their queries and case management challenges.
  • Maintaining accountability for all procedures and outcomes that require Technical Manager endorsement and oversight, ensuring our regulatory and compliance obligations are fulfilled.
  • Assisting the business to understand technical and operational processes, legislation, guidelines, and contractual requirements in order to drive performance improvement and to keep teams up to date on expectations and changes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational controls and claim outcomes, supporting the business aims of process improvement/establishing best practices.
