Description:
We are currently working with a leading residential developer seeking a Technical Manager to join their business. You would be joining a Tier 1 Developer with an extensive pipeline of current and future work, directly working on some of the most exciting new build residential projects In London.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience working on new build RC Frame projects, either for a Residential Developer or a Main Contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver all aspects of Technical Management function on a project or provide assistance within the Technical Management team for large scale developments within the division.
- Must be commercially aware working with established budgets to provide cost effective solutions.
- Manage/implement and deliver all activities in accordance with company values.
- Ensure contractual responsibilities are met by the company, the professional consultants and CDP.
- Responsible for monthly audits, reporting and delivery targets.
- Organise Land/Technical Handover meetings.
- Monitor and oversee all technical statutory obligations including planning, S106, building contract/warranty and other legal agreements.
- Responsible for reporting on all technical matters at monthly project meetings
- Management of consultant design delivery programme
- Problem solving and timely response to contractor RFI ensuring programme is maintained.
- Lead and chair Design Team meetings.
- Monitor and control the professional fee budget and update fee report on a monthly basis, to incorporate into the Cost Report
