Description:

Responsibilities:
- Technical and economic evaluation and selection of electrical components and rectifiers for electrolysis plants
- Strategic development of energy supply systems for Uniper’s large-scale hydrogen projects in Uniper’s core markets (Germany, Netherlands, UK and Sweden)
- Technical and economic evaluation of grid connection concepts in accordance with the requirements of the current standards and specifications of the energy supply companies / grid operators
- Coordination of the registration of plants with the local grid operator, evaluation of studies and simulations as well as negotiation of contracts in close cooperation with relevant Uniper units
- Supervision and technical contract support for high-voltage grid connections and the subsequent low- and medium-voltage systems
- Technical and scheduling coordination of grid concepts with customers, grid operators, internal specialist departments and, if necessary, suppliers
- Proactive development of suggestions for improvement in the role of Subject Matter Expert
- Promoting the exchange between different projects and ensuring that lessons learnt are taken into account in future projects
- Participation in technical committees and associations
