  • Knowledge: Sound understanding of laboratory principles, general science practices, and Work Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities:

Are you passionate about contributing to high-quality laboratory services in a dynamic healthcare environment? As a Technical Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the laboratory by performing routine diagnostic tests, including specimen preparation, screening, and reporting. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Working under the guidance of the laboratory supervisor, you will assist with complex tests and procedures while conducting bench-level reviews of quality control. In this multi-disciplinary environment, you’ll have the opportunity to work across different areas, broadening your skills and contributing to the delivery of exceptional diagnostic services that support patient care.
