Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
This role involves providing technical instruction, support, and other relevant services for teaching, research, and engagement programs. The position is crucial in ensuring that safe practices are followed in studio, workshop, and teaching areas.
In your new role of Technical Officer (Digital Technologies), you will provide technical support for class activities and student project work associated with specialised computing technologies, including extended reality (VR, AR & MR), 3D scanning, modelling, programming, and electronics. You’ll be part of a team that works to establish and nurture a vibrant community of confident hands-on makers, and to foster a student-centric environment that promotes an open, investigative, experimental, and interdisciplinary approach to making.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
