Description:

Our turnkey solutions allow us to engage in seamless partnerships that help brands with scalability and sustainable growth. Lief Labs is located in the Santa Clarita Valley (Valencia, CA.) All roles are on-site Monday – Friday. (2nd shift 1:00 - 9:30pm) Training will be on 1st shift for 3 weeks. (5:00am-1:30pm)
SUMMARY
The Technical Operator will be assigned to production equipment or a packaging line. Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards. Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams and report malfunctions to a supervisor. Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product. Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing. Perform preventative maintenance and inspect parts for signs of excessive wear or damage.
EDUCATION
High School diploma/GED or equivalency of related work experience
EXPERIENCE:
- 1–2-year experience in mechanical maintenance
- Good diagnostic skills
- Solid work ethics
- Mechanically Inclined
- Understand and familiar with Good Manufacture Practice (cGMP)
- 1 years’ experience in Production Operations
- Knowledge of production machines and processes.
- Ability to work while standing/rotation and handle packaging equipment to make precise measurements.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quality work within deadlines with direct supervision.

- Do set-up on assigned production equipment.
- PM equipment in assigned production area.
- Making sure machines are working properly and efficiently.
- Fix and adjust equipment per Manufacturer’s Manual
- Support and assist in installation of any new equipment.
- Support Engineering to provide data and improvement the efficiency of equipment in production.
- Report and escalate any issue in production to supervisor and Leads.
- Support Janitorial to keep area clean and compliant to cGMP.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.
- Additional duties as assigned.
