About the position
As Technical Product Manager you will own our current product portfolio from a technical perspective. This means that you analyze, specify and develop needed changes in dialogue with our suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will act as the link between our innovation teams and the teams within operations. You will be responsible for continuous product improvements, adjustments and maintenance of the current portfolio both from a regulatory and efficiency perspective.
The role also involves projects for future products where productification and industrialization projects are needed.
All above, to make Maurten’s current and future product fauna fit for purpose before handing over to procurement and production. This means you are designing feasible product- and production-solutions, support and document manufacturing processes.

In the role you will among others interact with.

• Nutritionists and User Experience teams to follow up on product performance, and suggest improvements
• R&D to develop and document production processes & decide on packaging concepts for coming products
• The Brand team, acting as a competent facilitator on technology and feasibility
• The Logistical team with support in packaging concepts and pack concepts for efficient 3PL
• Procurement & Quality with a technical input on the processes

We think you have the following background and skills:

• Product Developer with product, process or innovation experience
• Bachelor’s degree, within mechanical engineering, technical design, innovation or similar
• +5 years of experience in similar role
• Curios, Analytical, and Communicative
• Open to drive a broad spectra of development projects
• Driving license
• Fluent in Englis

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Product Manager will maintain and develop the current product portfolio from a technical perspective; hence the role needs both creativity and structure. This position will have an impact on the company by proactively managing the product life cycles to secure continuous supply. This position will report to “Senior Advisor Product and Production Development” within Operations.

• Managing and driving the changes in materials, manufacturing processes and packaging concepts.
• On-site engagement at Suppliers, Contract Manufacturers and Partners, to manage and understand how technical changes affect the supply chain.
• Contribution with technical and industrialization expertise in internal forums
• Improve the way of working on Change Control and documentation all the way on new and updated products.
• Document, communicate and follow up information and actions to and with internal stakeholders.

Main tasks

• Being accountable for changes on our Product Portfolio. In addition, accountable for the communication of such changes to affected stakeholders. Collaborate closely with internal and external expertise.
• Act as a Technical Point of Contact – being the go-to person regarding technical discussions on the existing Product Portfolio.
• Serve as Industrialization expert in internal Innovation Forums – bringing knowledge about feasibility helping innovative ideas to become offered products.
