Description:
As a Technical Product Specialist, you will report to the Global Sales Director of EIA (Energy, Industrial & Automation) You will support the sales team in understanding customer cyber challenges and priorities, identifying security opportunities, building tailored security solutions, and demonstrating these solutions to secure technical decisions. You will communicate customer requirements to product management teams and provide advanced training and support for sales teams across all business territories. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technical advancements, and the competitive landscape will be crucial to presenting and selling the best solutions to our clients.
- Partners with Account Ownership teams as opportunities are limited to close the sale.
- Develops and presents sales proposals, and systems solutions and closes complex technical sales opportunities as needed.
- Maintains knowledge of ULS products and services and can communicate value propositions to clients effectively.
- Cross-sells and upsells our cybersecurity and functional safety portfolio to existing clients.
- Generates new business leads through extensive networking and relationship development.
- Manages time effectively for calls, networking, travel, and proposal preparation.
- Delivers tailored pitches and presentations to clients, addressing their specific needs.
- Works closely with clients to identify requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Negotiates contracts to secure favourable terms.
- Consistently meets or exceeds sales quotas.
- Manages pipeline and forecast using our CRM system.
- Travels to client locations as needed.
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in an Engineering field or a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading sales for advanced cybersecurity and functional safety services.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English. Other languages are desirable but not essential.
- Business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes, ideally with a technical, consultative sales background
- Demonstrated ability to execute projects to achieve stated objectives.
- Recognised as a product or service specialist by peers, customers, or industry leaders.
- Significant business travel and work outside of the office are required.
