Description:

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

As Technical Product Specialist - III, you will play a critical part in driving the delivery of our products, taking the ownership of the product lifecycle from build to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, between engineering, product and support teams, driving the technical and operations excellence pre and post launch of complex products in Digital Office.

Required

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to collaborate with engineers, and functional stakeholders; proven ability to understand the technical complexities and drive closure on conflicting solutions on technical design / architecture
  • Requires an understanding of their product/program and have credibility to work with stakeholders (specifically engineering)
  • Coordinate and oversee sustaining and post-launch tasks for Digital Office Products.
  • Streamline the processes from build to deploy – with high expertise to bring together multiple workstreams across different geographies and product lines towards a successful product delivery
  • Contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to products.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to successfully engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to work with Engineering teams.
  • Ability to influence and align relevant stakeholders across product, engineering, operations etc.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical background in digital products offerings.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and consumer technology concepts including client/server languages and architectures, Digital Asset and Content Management systems, ERP systems, CRM, SCM, Database, cloud architectures, web and mobile application development, transactional and non-transactional database concepts, etc.
  • Experience in managing complex software product lifecycles, from build to launch

Certificates / Training:

  • NA

Experience:

  • 5+ years of work experience working on technical Product/program management, product development or technology.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with engineers on Product / program launches distributed across multiple product lines and geographies.
  • 3+ years working experience in Scrum and Agile SDLC models.

Education:

Required

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent

Preferred

  • MBA or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent, PMP

Responsibilities:

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Manage the lifecycle of a large-scale and cross-functional technical product/programs., collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Map Functional requirements from the requirements given by product team to build a product that adds value to the distributors or customers
  • Identify & resolve technical dependencies and requirements for engineering team, including the choices on technical design Implementation
  • Identify and mitigate the risk on product delivery, clear project blockers, holds engineering teams accountable for delivery.
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ensure features are tested and meet quality definitions, handle releases, and post launch monitoring including code maintenance, service monitoring, performance, scaling, availability tuning
  • Look for opportunities to make technology components extensible, root cause resolution, responsible for dev team adherence to SLAs, drive operational excellence.
  • Identify and monitor KPIs of technical performance pre- and post-production and track the progress.
