Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Technology, this role will be supporting the EMEA business team with all aspects of hardware, support & associated logistics.
As a Product Support Specialist, you’ll work alongside a highly skilled technical support team as you help drive our business outcomes forward. You’ll roll up your sleeves as you coordinate the build, configuration, support & deployment of migration technology for all of our EMEA projects. When you get into the driver’s seat of this role, you will show your expertise in ensuring our business and customers are setup for success. This is a fantastic opportunity!
As a Product Support Specialist and integral member of our dedicated project team, you’ll reduce risk, standardise on methodology and deliver successfully for our customers. You’ll take on tough challenges and create innovative solutions. Along the way, you’ll grow and develop at a pace that energizes your career while you do your life’s best work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 Years’ experience with server hardware builds for both HPE & Dell server technology.
  • 3-5 Years’ experience with operating system installation. Linux & Windows.
  • Experience with Linux system administration fundamentals. Networking, storage, software installs, troubleshooting.
  • Enterprise storage & SAN understanding. FC & iSCSI preferable. HPE, Pure, Dell, NetApp storage a bonus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working within IT infrastructure, data centre & technology refresh.
  • Experience working alongside technology teams in a business change or operations capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all of the appliance server hardware for projects to be delivered across EMEA.
  • Work with a combination of technical delivery teams, partners & sales to ensure product availability.
  • Manage inventory, logistics, hardware support & software builds.
  • Remote support the deployment of hardware in customer locations across EMEA.
  • Establish / apply quality control to all hardware, software builds & processes.
  • Maintain hardware inventory forecasts for EMEA.
  • Work with product engineering or QA to resolve any build issues.
  • Remote configuration of cloud support & sign off each deployment.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for all hardware & software deployments in the EMEA region.
