The Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing and driving the successful execution of related, complex technical projects for Bayshore Home Care Solutions. The role bridges the gap between business objectives and technical deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. The position involves defining technical program requirements, managing resources, and mitigating risks, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle.

Hours of Work: 8:30a-5p, Monday - Friday
Work Setting: In-person, office environment
Location: Mississauga, ON with visits to branches & clinics as required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define program requirements, timelines, and budgets
  • Develop and manage detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Oversee the execution of technical programs, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to specification
  • Manage and track program budgets and resources
  • Proactively Identify and mitigate program risks and issues
  • Proactively communicate program status and progress to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, including developers, testers, and business analysts
  • Monitor and report on program performance metrics
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness

Knowledge, Skill and Technical Abilities

  • Strong understanding of software project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Ability to lead projects through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, security, and optimization; Cloud Services; Headless Technology, API management; Cybersecurity & Compliance; Scalability & Performance; Disaster Recovery & Continuity best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
  • Excellent project management skills, including prioritization, deadline management, and progress tracking
  • Potential to manage a small team of 2
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Typical problems include managing and addressing issues that cause delays in project timelines, such as resource shortages, technical challenges, or scope changes. Additionally, stakeholder misalignment, ensuring projects meet all regulatory and compliance requirements, team coordination, vendor management and performance bottlenecks.
  • Decisions involve prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, mitigating risks, providing input into technical solutions and optimizing system performance
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment

Job Qualification
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred: MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent experience
5-7 years of experience in technical program management, preferably within a complex, regulated environment (e.g., healthcare, finance, government)
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical programs on time and within budget
Typical office environment, with visits to branches and clinics as required
Ability to travel up to 50% during key program milestones. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car if necessary
