Description:

SUMMARY

The Technical Program Manager will work at our client’s facility to coordinate engineering activities and facilitate all internal and external communications for automotive telematics module development. Extensive coordination with internal engineering teams and external developers is an integral part of this position to meet timing schedules and ensure successful project execution.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years of experience in an engineering or program management role within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with automotive development practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with automotive infotainment systems or telematics.
  • Knowledge of major infotainment features, such as Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition, CAN, and in-vehicle navigation systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive (OEM) specifications and standards.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience operating in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Japanese.

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all engineering development timing meets milestones and deliverables based on development schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and partner suppliers, coordinating development work to ensure 100% on-time performance for all deliverables.
  • Monitor project development status, identify potential issues, propose effective solutions, and report progress to management.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program timing plans to guide projects through all phases of development, ensuring progress aligns with expectations.
  • Proactively identify project risks and issues, alert team members, contribute to solutions, and escalate critical concerns when necessary.
  • Manage cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring alignment of objectives and effective communication.
