QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in managing software development teams using a variety of programming languages and technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different levels of hierarchy.
- Strong understanding of software development practices and architecture patterns & principles.
- Solid 10 years of background in application development using Java/.Net as a developer/technical lead or architect.
- Experience in managing teams/programs utilizing microservices and event driven architecture.
- Strong experience in managing REST API development and onboarding different consumers internally and external.
- Substantial experience with cloud-related concepts & technologies, preferably Azure.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to Identify and understand technical dependencies between initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or additional equivalent work or military experience preferred
- 5 years of experience as a technical program management or development manager.
- 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles (Direct/Indirect).
- Financial services industry experience preferred
- Experience managing third party vendors preferred
