Description:
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Technical Program Manager for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a global technology company specializing in self-service payment solutions and digital customer engagement for the retail petroleum industry. Headquartered in New Zealand, they offer a range of innovative products designed to enhance the customer experience at fuel stations and retail locations. The solution is designed to provide secure, fast, and reliable payment processing at fuel dispensers. These terminals support various payment methods, including EMV, NFC, and mobile payments. This software platform enables remote management and monitoring of payment devices. It includes features for security, diagnostics, and real-time updates, facilitating efficient operation and maintenance. The solutions allow for remote monitoring and management, reducing downtime and maintenance costs while ensuring devices are always up-to-date and secure. The client operates in multiple countries and serves many clients, from small independent fuel retailers to large multinational chains.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Agile program/project management or in a similar/ transferrable role.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience managing technical programs.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and SAFe principles.
- A customer-focused mindset, the ability to act for the customer, knowledge of customer requirements, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A person driven for results with the ability to focus on important issues, who can regularly refocus on results and demonstrate a drive to exceed performance targets.
- Ability to manage multiple small programs or one medium-sized program with associated risks and resource responsibilities.
- Understanding product development or business analysis with extensive cross-functional exposure is preferred.
- Experience in distributed & multi-cultural team management.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
- Support and drive actions post-initiation on solutions from design/requirement analysis through delivery, picking up ownership after initial discussion and scoping.
- Support engineering teams and/or a release train. Work with cross-functional teams to define clear solutions, develop solutions, and integrate with business operating processes as needed, working across product groups and geographies.
- Facilitate and drive SAFe PI planning, execution, and tracking.
- Define clear product and solution specifications and drive gap analysis/estimating of work content.
- Provide hands-on program management.
- Actively manage program plans and deliverables and the 9 knowledge areas of Program Management (PMI).
- As needed, prepare communication plans and related program status reports and presentations, including customer communications.
- Effectively apply internal development process based upon Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and enforce defined program standards.
- Conduct day-to-day management of program team personnel and communication with key stakeholders.
- Initiate primary technical contact for program-related issues.
- Oversee the entire program life cycle and manage cross-functional team from Program initiation to production implementation.
- Provide value-added services through a consultative, value-added approach.
- Leverage knowledge of program management to identify potential risks and mitigation approaches to keep programs on track, escalating as needed to get the program back on track.
- Manage program delivery timeline, ensuring on-time delivery of agreed deliverables and milestones.
