Description:

You will have extensive experience working in a Diagnostic Genomics Laboratory, with in depth knowledge of the area to be managed including sample processing and assays used for genomic diagnosis of rare diseases and cancer, cancer prognosis, monitoring or Pharmacogenomics. You must be a HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist or Genetic Technologist with the Academy for Healthcare Science (or at least actively working towards). As the lead laboratory of the East Genomic Laboratory Hub, the Cambridge Laboratory has a critical role in the delivery of genomic services to a population of over 8 million people. You will be joining a dynamic, growing establishment that is developing its staff in a vibrant atmosphere where you will be able to make a real difference to patients who are benefitting from the latest genomic testing technology.
