Hear from the recruiting manager, Michael Day:
“Hi, and thank you for your interest in Physitrack! I’m Michael Day, Head of Marketing. At Physitrack, we understand that great teamwork is built on strong processes, structures, and talented individuals, as well as the ability to move at pace when we need to. We’re searching for a talented Project Manager to be the ‘glue’ that brings our functional teams together, ensuring we deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.
We need a Project Manager who is not only tech-savvy but also excellent with people—someone who can bridge the gap between technology and collaboration.
While our marketing team is primarily based in the UK, Physitrack is a global company, and we welcome applications from across the UK and EU. Although we’re remote-first, we aim to meet occasionally in person in Manchester or London.”
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who not only excels in project management but also brings a deep technical understanding to the table. In this role, you will be an essential part of our Growth Team, leading and coordinating projects across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support. While this role is an ‘army of one’, you’ll collaborate across various departments—including Product, Engineering, and Legal—to ensure projects are delivered on time, technical challenges are resolved, and tools are used to their full potential.
At Physitrack Group, we live by our ‘Always Be Curious’ culture, which fosters continuous learning. Whether it’s through books, podcasts, or inviting external experts, we encourage our team to stay curious and keep growing.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Project Leadership: You’ll lead projects from initiation to completion, conducting kick-off meetings, keeping stakeholders informed, and ensuring deadlines are met. You’ll oversee our project management tool, ClickUp, to keep everyone aligned and to help build efficient processes.
- Driving Technical Implementation:This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll define and manage the technical requirements for new tools within the Growth Team. You’ll ensure that any new tools integrate seamlessly with our current systems, and you’ll work closely with Legal, InfoSec, and Engineering to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Promoting Internal Collaboration: This is an internal role. You’ll act as a key bridge between the Growth, Product, and Engineering teams, helping align needs, understanding, and technical execution while managing resources efficiently.
- Self-Starter: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work autonomously (solo-role) across functions, serving as the go-to person for all things technical project management within the Growth Team.
