Requirements:

  • Experience of IBM Bigdata platform
  • Understand Financial flows and how it works
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Get familiar with a data module, understand the related tables, and grasp SQL. Act as a liaison to the developers.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting.
  • It’s an advantage if you have experiences of mainframe environment and its limitations.
  • Understanding of mainframe technology Comprehend data models to communicate effectively and understand mainframe technology to grasp the overall system.
  • Extensive expertise in both technology and finance, ideally with prior involvement in retail operations and proficiency as a backend developer to be able to comprehend and interpret the Data modules.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager with a successful track record in customer receivables ledger migration

ROLE/ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW

Client is an innovative and forward-looking organization committed to excellence in database management. Client are currently looking for a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to lead the migration of KURT to SIMBA, resulting in the closure of KURT.
Client are seeking a Technical Project Manager who is proactive, driven, and enthusiastic about both technology and finance.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the seamless migration process from KURT to SIMBA while ensuring the smooth closure of KURT.
This role demands a proactive individual with a strong drive and adaptability to new situations. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying innovative solutions and implementing contingency plans as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the migration process, meticulously addressing technical details for a smooth transition.
  • Translate information to the new system, risk control, prioritizing a solution-oriented approach to overcome obstacles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve technical challenges, driving successful outcomes.
  • Participate in steering group meetings to monitor progress and address arising issues.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in accounting and data warehouse systems throughout the migration process.
