Do you have a passion for helping developers? Within the Transformational Office, we are enabling our technologists to drive application modernization efforts across the firm. We are creating learning content to help our highly technical audience upskill in public cloud, machine learning, and more.
We need someone who is passionate about technology, and equally passionate about helping others. If you’re someone who lives for learning and are active in the broader tech community, we want to hear from you. You will build working relationships with our engineers, understand their business and technology domains and needs, and encourage the use of the right tools through different channels.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Proven experience in creating technical content such as blogs, code samples, and so forth.
- Proven experience in presenting and excellent communication skills
- Hands-on practical experience in Python software engineering.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS), infrastructure provisioning (Terraform) and containerisation (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc)
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
- Empathy for our developer community

Responsibilities:
- Creating learning content, such as blog posts, presentations, videos, code samples and lessons
- Presenting and running training sessions and presentations, both in person and virtually
- Community outreach, including working with identified champions and answering questions
- Supporting the delivery of the community strategy, including organising and running events and programmes of activities
