Description:
TECHNICAL PROPOSAL MANAGER
Vancouver, BC
The Technical Proposal Manager will be supporting the development of IT infrastructure project proposals, working with Solution Architects and technical SMEs to gather the project requirements and dependencies from clients and service providers. This position will be focusing on the submission of technology-focused contracts proposals, overseeing and collaborating on RFP processes within a cross-functioning environment, while identifying and tracking metrics and other key project management deliverables.
WHAT YOU BRING
Qualifications
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration or relevant proposal management discipline with a minimum of four (4) year’s recent, related experience in project proposal management
- Project delivery experience in areas such as servers, storage, data networks, IP telephony (VOIP / PBX), wireless networks, and workstation / output device installs & moves, as well as implementing the IT infrastructure components (e.g. data / voice / wireless networks / cabling), for facilities construction projects (i.e. new facilities and renovations to existing facilities)
- Keen attention to detail and strong verbal and written communications
- Experience preparing client portfolio level project reporting / presentations
- Strong budget management skills
- Healthcare experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities:
- Manage the proposal development process from start to finish, including planning, drafting, editing, and finalizing proposals
- Define the project scope, services, deliverables for IT infrastructure hardware / software components; implementation effort / cost estimates, milestones, assumptions, and dependencies
- Determining and evaluating KPI’s of RFP processes; managing and coordinating contract terms and conditions and other legal components
- Presenting and obtaining approval of the project proposals from Health Authority clients
- Responsible for ensuring customers are updated regularly on the status of their project requests
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for proposal submissions
- Facilitate meetings and communications with stakeholders to align on project goals and progress
