Job Responsibilities:
Supplier Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers. /Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers. /Maintain strong relationships
with vendors and suppliers.
Procurement:Purchase technical equipment, components, or materials according to the site specific construction installation requirements /Ensure that
purchases meet the technical specifications and quality standards.
Cost Control: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. /Analyze total costs, including shipping, handling, and warehousing.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. / Maintain accurate records of
orders, contracts, and vendor communications
Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to understand technical requirements. /
Communicate with internal stakeholders to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery of materials. /Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment
with suppliers.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering and or Power Distribution degree/diploma
Experience: Several years of experience in technical procurement, supply chain management, for HV/MV/LV Equipment
Skills:
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the technical specifications and requirements of the products being procured for the HV/MV/LV Power
Distribution Equipment
Attention to Detail: Precision in ensuring that purchases meet quality standards and specifications.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues related to procurement, such as delays or quality concerns
