With a hands-on culture and close proximity to its clients, Sogeti is currently looking for a Technical Test Engineer Lead to join our Quality Engineering and Test Practice, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving impactful value creation for our clients.
Hybrid working : The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Experience in leading technical and multi-discipline teams
• Experience in test automation using at least two proprietary or OpenSource tools such as Selenium WebDriver, or Keysight EggPlant
• Design and execute performance tests using JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, and other relevant tools to assess system scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate test assets into the Agile development process and continuously improve testing efficiency.
• Implement monitoring solutions using Grafana and Splunk to gather insights into system performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Manage code repositories using Git and ensure version control best practices are followed.
• Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline the release process.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure for cloud-based testing infrastructure and resource management.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members to report on test results, discuss issues, risks, and propose solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing strategies and priorities.
• Utilize JIRA, Adobe AEM, Akamai, SAP Hybris, and Confluence for project management, documentation, and collaboration.

MANDATORY SKILLS :

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, PHP, and HTML to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JMeter, Gatling, Jenkins, JavaScript, PHP, and HTML.
• Experience with API tools such as Postman, RestAssured and Insomnia.
• Experience with Puppeteer for end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Familiarity with Grafana and Splunk for monitoring and analyzing system performance.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and working within CI/CD environments.
• Experience managing code repositories using Git.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
