Description:

Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Form creation of Return To Service & Maintenance Statements ensuring aircrafts meets airworthiness requirements
  • Support between CAMO/Customer and Leads, B1, B2 and C-Certs regarding paperwork queries
  • Support between C-Certs, Warranty, SMP and Invoice analysis ensuring all corrective actions are up to date for billing purposes only
  • Point of contact regarding maintaining Technical Records for a/c’s currently in work and previously worked ensuring all systems are up to date as work commences
  • Provide soft and hard copies to the CAMO / customer within 30 days of Return to Service
  • Support CAMO / customer with maintenance tracking services
  • Ensure all information is up to date so the client can always be aware of the status and in line with EASA regulations
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to members of management at least 50% of the time
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for on-site / off site special events such as AOG’s or Line Maintenance Projects
  • Conduct internal Procedural audits including conducting regularity and procedural training courses to support Quality Operations. Including preparing findings and spot checks to monitor accuracy on and before delivering aircraft back into service
  • Ensuring all relevant information has been registered on the a/c service order and if the work has been completed in compliance with applicable maintenance data. Report all discrepancies to C-certs and planning for correction
  • Ensure all maintenance records have been completed as requested by the CAMO/Customer for Certifying staff approval with accompanying paperwork before the a/c is returned to service
  • Ability to interpret / process all relevant (foreign and domestic) regulatory documents, actions and requirements
  • Prepare and initiate department-wide mass communication for review of management prior to distribution, primarily Quality, Certifying staff and Operations Manager
  • Have responsibilities the include, but are not limited to, handling confidential and time sensitive material, maintaining up to date timelines of projects and projecting the appropriate professional image of the company
