Job Description: As a Technical Recruiter at GrizzlyTrek, you will play a vital role in our mission to empower Indigenous People and Indigenous communities by sourcing, attracting, and retaining skilled tradespeople for oil and gas operations turnarounds and shutdowns projects. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Recruiter with a strong background in the oil and gas industry and a deep understanding of working with Indigenous people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas operations turnarounds and shutdowns is essential.
  • Familiarity with Indigenous communities and an understanding of the cultural sensitivities surrounding Indigenous recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with external partners.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and Indigenous empowerment.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Identify and recruit top talent with a focus on tradespeople experienced in oil and gas operations turnarounds and shutdowns.
  • Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates, with a particular emphasis on Indigenous candidates.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and partners to ensure a robust pipeline of candidates.
  • Candidate Assessment: Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure they meet the technical and cultural requirements of our clients and our commitment to Indigenous inclusion.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience, guiding candidates through the recruitment process, and ensuring a positive and respectful interaction with GrizzlyTrek.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in our recruitment database, tracking progress and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand project requirements and workforce needs, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
