As our Technical Research Analyst you will have a good technical grounding with knowledge of cyber security and data analysis. You will be able to use tools and systems to analyse data and be happy to work both independently and in a team.
You will have a strong attention to detail and a critical eye to explore what is possible. You will be able to collaborate with stakeholders to share your ideas and help them to transform the exam security space.

Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to research and analyse emerging technical threats that impact Cambridge and its learners worldwide. We are trusted by learners, academics and institutions all over the world and the Technical Research Analyst will be at the at the heart of innovative changes to make our products more secure.

You will be responsible for researching and validating threats, ensuring these are mitigated and communicated across the business to maintain our high standards of security.

  • Conduct research on new and emerging threats focussing on methods and techniques
  • Analyse datasets to detect anomalies, patterns and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers from across the business to present research, findings and offer actionable recommendations
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of investigations carried out and changes made
