Description:
NSF is a globally recognized organization for public health standards. We conduct testing, auditing, and certification, supported by accredited labs. Additionally, we provide top-tier consulting and training for brands and businesses. NSF is currently looking for a Technical Reviewer II (Aerospace) responsible for supporting the Aerospace division. This is a key role in ensuring certification for our clients. You will work collaboratively with account managers, fellow team members, and clients to provide technical support for conformance review questions, and training. The successful candidate must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task.

- Complete technical reviews on submitted audit report packages are within accreditation requirements, ensuring quality and integrity of reviews by following departmental procedures, calibration communications, and or set guidelines
- Liaison with auditor(s) on needed corrections to report and provide timely feedback
- Generate and follow up on corrections identified during the review process
- Collect/analyze reports/statistics/ data for the management team
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training for team
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, with minimal supervisory oversite
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalence
Minimum 3 years of work experience with demonstrated technical, scientific, and analytical aptitude
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with the capability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Prior working knowledge of basic manufacturing processes, common associated vocabulary, and their meaning
Strong program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a face paced environment
Experience making timely decisions, through effective understanding of issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to conclude; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Able to travel up to 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
4-year degree
Minimum 1 year of direct experience in aerospace management system certification requirements (e.g., AS9101, AS9104, ISO 17021-1)
Prior experience working with IAQG OASIS database
3 years of experience in management systems audit report review (ISO 9001, AS9101, etc.)
3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience working with common improvement tools (e.g., corrective action, internal auditing, kaizen, lean initiatives, etc.)
Advanced professional skills and knowledge in execution of manufacturing practices, with current understanding of developing trends within the aviation, space, and defense sector.
Prior working knowledge of aerospace industry practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., aviation authority, defense ministry practices, etc.)
Salary Range: $49,000 - $83,000
The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
