Description:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled Technical Safety Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Fire and gas safety (active and passive fire protection, detection, area classification etc.)
- Shutdown philosophy
- Barrier management in relation to safety strategies and/or performance standards
- Facilitate risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, Design Review etc.
- Handle risks related to allocated projects
- Studies and project execution within Technical Safety
- Technical work environment
- Design reviews and specifications
- Ensure compliance with the personnel handbook, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to support strong client relations by delivering excellent customer service, promoting the section internally and externally, and contributing to attracting new projects and assignments.
- Foster a positive work environment by actively recommending improvements, recording discrepancies with corrective suggestions, and collaborating with management to develop personal expertise.
- Adhere to all instructions and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency, utilize authorized company systems and programs, and initiate or request necessary equipment and tools for task completion.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
Work Experience:
- Relevant experience with Technical Safety Engineering
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies such as HAZID, HAZOP, and design reviews
Education:
- Bachelor or Master degree within Technical Safety or similar.
