  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree relevant for technical safety.
  • Experience within one or more of the following areas: Process, Mechanical, Automation, or Civil engineering.

  • Good execution skills, results-oriented, and proactive.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

We are recruiting engineers to Hammerfest, Mongstad, and Kollsnes in Øygarden. In your application, please specify what plant you are applying for, and please include a clear description of why you are motivated to work at your specified location.
This is an ordinary daytime position where work location will be at the plant Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with expertise as a technical safety engineer for our processing plant.
  • Conducting risk assessments and contributing to the planning and execution of safety reviews.
  • Ensuring the development and follow-up of Total Risk Analysis (TRA), SIL assessments, and LOPA.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the technical condition of the plant.
  • Recommending and following up on short- and long-term measures.
  • Initiating modification proposals and following up on them.
  • Evaluating and assessing compliance with technical requirements and specifications.
  • Participating in projects and studies.
  • Conducting risk assessments of new value chains in a low-carbon future
