ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

Be of support to project work and contribute to the development / implementation of tools and work processes within the area of responsibility. Contribute to that at any given time required tasks are carried out in accordance with the requirements, specifications and schedule.

  • Fire and gas safety (active and passive fire protection, detection, area classification etc.)
  • Shutdown philosophy.
  • Barrier management in relation to safety strategies and/or performance standards.
  • Facilitate risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, Design Review etc.
  • Handle risks related to allocated projects.
  • Studies and project execution within Technical Safety.
  • Technical work environment.
  • Design reviews and specifications.

  • Relevant personnel handbook
  • Rules & Regulations

    Client relations (internal and external):

  • Contribute to provide excellent customer service.

  • Be involved in the promotion of the section to customers internally and externally.
  • Contribute to attract and find new projects and assignments. Contribute to provide excellent customer service.

    Social responsibilities:

  • Contribute to create a good working environment.

  • Contribute to recommend improvements, as well as record discrepancies with suggestions for corrective measures.
  • Work with management to develop own expertise.

    Systems:

  • Follow all applicable instructions and procedures to maintain a good quality and effectiveness of the work.

  • Use the systems and programs required and authorized by the company.
  • Initiates / notify all need reviewing and ordering of equipment and tools to implement all the tasks imposed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Master degree within Technical Safety or similar.
  • Relevant experience within Engineering can compensate for lack of higher education.
  • Language: Fluent Norwegian and English
