As our new Technical Sales and Business Development Manager your mission will be to grow lubricant sales across your region and customer portfolio. You will seek out new opportunities from customers and collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, Account Managers and Customer Service.

What you will work on:

  • Drive and grow profitable sales by building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify target clients, execute face-to-face meetings, and lead a best-practice approach to selling
  • Use your technical expertise to lead impactful sales activities, focusing on the most promising opportunities and customers.
  • Keep CRM data current to accurately reflect opportunities and sales progression.
  • Act as a technical leader on lubricants, setting the standard in knowledge and customer-facing expertise.
  • Work with product management to provide performance insights and recommend product improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop impactful sales materials and present WSS products at industry events.
  • Embody a “can-do” attitude, inspiring the sales team to pursue growth and close deals confidently.

What you need to succeed in the role:

  • 2+ years of sales experience with exposure to the maritime industry being an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the marine lubricants industry is beneficial, but not mandatory. A willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area is key.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and a team player who thrives in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
