JOB DESCRIPTION
A Technical Sales Consultant provides best-in-class technical consulting, navigating customers through integration at their pace, by being accurate, timely, and insights driven. The Technical Sales Consultant position requires industry leading subject matter expertise as critical members of the sales and integration lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings extensive proficiency across payment technology, consulting, sales, and project management balanced with persistent customer advocacy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five plus years of customer facing experience
- Technical, Consulting, and Sales expertise
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Five or more years of experience in customer-facing technical consulting, engineering, and/or product delivery
- Previous Sales and/or Sales Engineering experience
- Previous Payments industry experience
- Previous Partner relationship experience
Responsibilities:
CRITICAL ASPECTS OF THE ROLE:
- Member of a client facing team of technical, subject matter experts
- Client Advocate for all Elavon Products and Solutions
- Works fluidly amongst Sales, Product, and Technology leaders
- Expertise with defining a customer payment solution based on customer need and consultation.
THE ROLE IS POSTED AS REMOTE; HOWEVER, CANDIDATES WHO ARE LOCATED NEAR ANY ONE OF OUR LOCATIONS WOULD BE REQUIRED TO WORK ON SITE AT LEAST THREE DAYS PER WEEK.
