Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Abuja.
Type: Full Time.

Our client is a dynamic and socially responsible technology company that specializes in delivering innovative digital solutions for optimizing operational workflows and facilitating informed decision-making.
Job Summary:
The candidate is expected to actively seek to transfer product and domain knowledge to the AVEVA\AKD distribution channel and systems integration community, providing outstanding Sales, Technical and consultancy support for AVEVA solutions and/or other supported client software. will be responsible for developing/designing machines and process control systems and implementing the finished product as required by the customer.

Job Responsibilities;

  • Enable sales growth through AVEVA/AKD distribution channel.
  • Transfer product & domain knowledge to the AVEVA/AKD distribution channel and systems integration community.
  • Communicating the value proposition of our solutions to prospects or partners at presentations, industry events, and seminars.
  • Contributing to the planning, creation, development and delivery of demonstrations that prove the value of our solutions.
  • Engaging with prospects to understand specific needs/problems and lead/contribute to the development of appropriate technical solutions.
  • Contributing to the planning, creation, organizing and execution of proof of capability presentations and demonstrations to prospects that ‘prove and confirm’ the value of our technical solutions to their specific needs/problems.
  • Work alone or with development staff to hands-on develop and present demo applications.

Important Working Relationships:

  • Prospects: Develop good working relationships with clients and always provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Sales: Work with distribution channel sales teams in identifying and qualifying opportunities, providing technical support at all levels of prospect engagement and ensuring throughout that proposed solutions are workable and are in line with AVEVA/AKD strategic objectives.
  • Technical: Work within a dynamic team and show flexibility in the use and development of personal and technical skills to maximize the team’s efficiency.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior employees.

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or its equivalent in any discipline.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage
  • 5 years of with AVEVA software products for plant Operations.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or business development role.
  • Significant practical experience of the implementation of AVEVA with customers.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring customer concern are solved.
  • Build working relationships with peers and with members of other teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs/problems of prospective customers.
  • The ability to effectively self-manage and handle multiple and possibly competing commitments simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Renumeration: Between N600,000 to N800,000 monthly gross depending on experience and qualifications.
