OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at our facility in Birmingham, AL, 35209. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a strong background in technical sales and customer service.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to customers in the targeted markets that include but are not limited to, nuclear power plant shielding, nuclear shielding in medical facilities, pharmaceuticals, and specialty lead parts market.Your primary objective will be to understand the client’s technical requirements, propose solutions, secure sales, and develop new business growth in this specified market.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in blueprint reading and product design
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Project management skills
• Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid organizational and work management skills.
