TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER – CENTRAL OFFICE - DACH (M/F/D)

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join our European Infrastructure Sales Team as a Technical Sales Manager located in central Germany.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • 6+ years of sales management experience.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of OLO’s, Service Providers & Data Centre infrastructures.
  • Strong consultative skills to understand how to connect easily with potential clients.
  • Ability to find new business prospects and markets.
  • Ability to function independently and exercise judgment to react to situations in a timely manner.
  • A high degree of integrity due to exposure to sensitive sales data and strategic product plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Ability to travel upwards of 50% in DACH region.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the regional sales leadership to identify, engage and build a position of influence with a defined list of OLO’s and Service Providers.
  • Work with the regional sales leadership to identify and build a plan to secure significant opportunities across the DACH region to be agreed as target pursuits.
  • Work to understand and build relationships with key consultants, contractors, integrators, and other vendors.
  • Represent COMMSCOPE at telecom and technology customer forums and events.
  • Collaborate with other COMMSCOPE groups working in the telecom space, including the global scale Data Centre team and market management groups.
  • Maintain and manage an opportunity funnel along with ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting to regional leadership.
