Description:
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Ability to produce/present comprehensive IT sales data.
- Must have consultant biased commercial H&V market experience.
- Desirable requirements
- Ability to present CPD’s in group situations.
- Practical building services trade/technical experience.
- Proven business development experience
- Able to converse on a commercial and technical level
- Highly developed commercial acumen, coupled with an ability to identify new business initiatives and strengthen existing relationships
Responsibilities:
- Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed aims.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems and update relevant information held in these systems.
- Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launched, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- Respond and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Record analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to preform duties and aid in business development.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
